I purchased a 2021 new Forest River Sabre from Camping World **************, **. Warranty work needed to be done but parts were not available at the time. I was told that when the slide out covers (extra purchase) came in they would fix all issues. Instead during install they damaged a storage door and only installed the slide out covers. In talking to ******************************* she refuses to send out a mobile team which was promised when I purchased the unit. A salesman (*****) quoted us a price on a camper even putting it on paper. We took a day to think on it & went to our bank to see if they could make us a better deal. The bank won the financing for us. When we called Camping World back to see if they would accept, the sales manager (*******) added $2,000 to our previous agreement. Guess what??! NO deal!! Camping World just lost a $15,000 sale over $2,000. See ya!
After buying our 2022 heartland pioneer bh270 for $41,000 we had it delivered and noticed the roof coming up in the front corner. They sent someone out with lap sealant and a s**** and I had to get up on the roof and do it myself. Remember brand new camper. A few weeks later the water pump valve messes up and I have to buy another water pump on Amazon for $65. I reached out to camping world and heartland. Well as much as it pains me ive gotta give them a decent **** however I have yet to be able to verify that the service contract is legit. This *************** be changing. What they stated was a 12 month bumper to bumper warrantee on the entire motor home and all of its systems would be included, however I was charged $5,000 for this item. We took our 5th wheel trailer to Camping World Meridian, ***** on Sept. 1st, 2021. Today is May 10th 2022.... over 9 months ago and we still do not have our trailer. We have had nothing but grief and dissatisfaction with their service. We took it in due to a slide not coming in all the way. Since then, they tore the back end off of our trailer with another rig, had us put on a new roof [which was questionable}, told us another slide needs repaired and put us off for one reason or another. I just quit camping world. I worked for 9 weeks straight with zero pay. Every day I checked about it it was we're working on it we're working on it we're working on it. Finally today I get a paycheck it's a full dollar an hour short and with zero overtime pay. When I told the general manager I was going to contact the lawyer the better Business bureau and corporate he literally laughed in my face and threatened physical violence. As a former employee, this company has no compassion and extremely poor management. After working there for a few years, as a master certified tech, I have watched campers leave the sales side without being prepped - knowingly rotted roofs on campers, and many more issues that they failed to resolve before customers left with campers. They didn't let customers know of the damage, and as a veteran from the ** military, it was extremely hard to watch them take advantage of customers. We picked up a 2018 Keystone Impact today purchased 2/12/22 took possession 4/16/22. I have been pulling equipment trailers for 42 years. My experience today was far from what I expected. 12 month warranty started 2/12/22 not 4/16/22 when possession was taken. That did not sit well . Second looking at the trailer you do a walk around inspection before you pull away with any trailer. That is a law. I did. I noticed the axle was sticking out more then the back.
