I will never do business with Camping World again. 2 weeks ago we sold a POS truck camper back to CW in **************, and the check still has not been sent to my bank to payoff the loan. I tried filing a complaint with corporate but that doesn't do any good, and when I ask to speak to a supervisor I am told one is not available but one will call me back. Never got a call from a supervisor. Spoke to *********** CW again and another supervisor said he will check into it and get back to me. Still waiting.
This camping world is just like the others HORRIBLE! We dropped our camper off to have a shower floor replaced in a 2021 camper. When we went to pick it up there were (2) cracks in the side walls from where they removed the side walls to replace the floor, not only that out faucet was hanging off the wall where they did not install it right.When I walked in the camper the bathroom was soaked where they left the vent open during rain I seen the issues contacted the service manager he said he would repair and fix everything at... read more
I wrote a review about a month ago about the nightmare experience we had here. Just an update. They were supposed to have fixed our refrigerator because it quit switching from electric to gas when we were traveling. We have gone on a 13 hour trip and when we got there everything was spoiled because it was still not working. Had to throw away over $100.00 worth of groceries. Don't shop there. They will automatically, without your permission, run you through the system to qualify you for a credit card, then coerce you into applying. The worst part is how your credit score drops and all without your permission.
Camping World,********** **. I bought a Norcold ****im refrigerator on 7/12/22. Installed and picked up 8/6/2022. They said it worked for them. Got it home plugged it in ran but would not cool. Took it Back on the 8/13 They ran it overnight. It worked for them. Back home would not cool. Took motorhome in for generator fuel pump replacement. Generator was working but running rough. Pump wss replaced. Now generator only turns over a half dozen times and blows the on board generator breaker. Tech replaced breaker. Two week wait. Wrong part eas ordered. Replaced breaker. Same problem. Tech claims that it is over charging. Wants to take generator off the motorhome to investigate. Claims in had to be an long time problem. I had never had this problem before. The people at camping world of ******** ** are snakes! They buy your camper from you and dont explain the procedure or process then you sign your title over to them and then they tell you theres a 10 inspection period and you dont get your money until after that but while you are waiting for your money they have already listed your camper on their website for sale and you dont even have a check in hand! Selling an RV on a couple of popular sites and they continue to contact me and making ridiculously low offers (less than half of **** value). I've asked them to quit contacting me and yet they continue....so f**k this place and the f**king idiots!
If I could possibly give a zero rating I would. I was going to purchase an RV from them and they kind of drag their feet and tried to force me to get some insurance through somebody they were affiliated with that had very bad ratings. The day of my appointment to go sign financial documents I called and canceled because I had found an *********** than half of what they were charging which was a better deal. Bigger and better.
