Wow! What a place! We spent a wonderfully relaxing night in the Barn Suite at Calcot and were blown away by the both the place and the staff. Our suite was huge, immaculately clean and really well designed. Lots of little touches to make it feel homely yet luxurious. The hotel and its grounds are gorgeous, lots of lovely places to sit and relax. And the staff, particularly the reception and spa staff, couldn't do enough to help. Not a cheap treat but a glorious one. We went with 5 and 3 year old s who had the best time as did we
Went for a spa day here, felt a bit disjointed, pool with no where to sit, outdoor whirlpool which has loungers but that's ok when the weather is good. Relaxation rooms are nice but spread out. On the upside the staff are very attentive and friendly. For the money there's better places.
