Another lovely stay at a lovely hotel. A special shout-out to Gwyn, the excellent barman and all-round man of action. He is an absolute credit to the hotel and the industry, and we enjoyed his company immensely. The food here is superb.

Been coming to Criccieth for a few years now and never eaten here so tonight we took the plunge. Very glad we did as the food was excellent (my lamb rump was delicious and so tender). The waitresses were attentive, friendly and made us very welcome. We highly recommend the restaurant.

Had a fantastic 3 nights at the Caerwylan as part of our Golden wedding celebrations. It did not disappoint. The weather was very good and the room we booked overlooking the sea was perfect. We ate in the Tonnau restaurant for 3 breakfasts and 2 evening meals, the food was excellent and the staff were friendly and helpful and supportive of our attempts to speak Welsh as we are “dysgu Cymraeg”. Had a lovely meal on Wednesday night. We are here from New Zealand visiting family in Criccieth, and a visit to Tonnau Restaurant at the Caerwylan is a must every time. Awesome food and service with varied vegan options as well. Thank you!
