Been going here for 15+ years and have always found them pleasant to deal with. They are also by far the cheapest supplier and I regularly shop around but never find stuff cheaper. I mainly buy Unistrut and conduit.
I've dealt with CMC for 30+ years and have always found the staff and Manager highly knowledgeable and very helpful. They are a wholesaler, not a shop and may not have time available for chat if your killing time on a slow day.
The owner/manager here seems to have serious issues with anger management. Steer clear!! I popped in with a colleague, on a slow day to browse their range of head torches in the shop and were literally thrown out for chatting to the guys behind the counter. There was no one else waiting to be served or even in the shop but the manager came out and started shouting about how his staff were too busy to talk to us and that we needed to get out!.
