Great walking routes, well marked and plenty of spectacular views. Well worth attending when the red kites are fed, it's a fantastic spectacle.

Incredible place. Very easy and peaceful ride. Kites are beautiful!
Such a shame the visitor centre is now closed. A beautiful place, but seems to have lost a lot of visitors following the closure. Rather sad, actually. The red kites are still the major attraction.
Brilliant place - we were passing at 2pm 28/9/25 which is feeding time for the Red Kites.. absolutely amazing to see them all flock in and take something to eat. Nice to see the place full of children, runners, mountain bikers and dog walkers. It was a Sunday in September- the coffee caravan was there - nice hot coffee - £3.50 cash or card - toilets in the trailer were the only let down - needed cleaning - quite smelly but functioning but no running water to wash your hands.
