First off we had a reservation for 8:15 and arrived a little early. Three other tables who came in after us were seated before us. So they gave us a seat in the lounge which I'm assuming is an upgrade. Then our we ordered an appetizer and entrees. The entrees came out an easy 45 min after the appetizer. Told the waiter I had a severe allergy to mushrooms when we ordered. My husband was told not to share his meal with me because there was mushrooms in it. My husband thoroughly enjoyed his meal. Wonderful food. Dirty pasta was amazing. Loved the bourbon flights. Prices are just right. A little loud. Our waitress Stephanie was awesome.
The Hangar steak was amazing! Such flavor!The sourdough bread was a great choice and the strawberry pie is a must! Served warm with vanilla ice cream its more like a campfire pie soooooo good!
It was very nice. Delicious food. Very noisy though, and the waitress kept forgetting to ask if we needed more drinks.
Food was fantastic! Highly recommend the Sunday gravy as an appetizer.
Fabulous food!! My daughter and I took our first ever trip to Pittsburgh. She picked out the restaurant before we left St. Louis and were completely impressed with the website and menu but it honestly did not prepare us for the wonderment of Butcher and the Rye! The whisky selection was amazing and again...the food incredible! Loved the beet salad and the scallops and the pate was beyond decadent!!
