Really original place, very good food and knowledgeable staff. Worth booking ahead. You won't be disappointed.
Had an absolutely fabulous evening there last night. I took my sweetheart to the upstairs Rye bar for a few drinks before calling it a night. Guiseppe was an awesome bartender, super knowledgeable and creative as well. Combine the talents of the bartenders with a wall of over 600 whiskeys, bourbons and scotches and well, just how can anyone compete with that?! We had really anticipated dinner here and we're disappointed. Our server had a bad attitude toward our group of diners. I ordered the burger that was on special and it tasted fishy. Like the cook didn't clean and prep the grill properly. I didn't even try to send it back since the server was so unpleasant.
The Dirty Pasta (with ground duck and brandy) was amazing. My table mate got the daily special (a burger) which was good but nothing special. Decor is great. What I liked best is that the noise level was not too loud (we were upstairs)
Amazing food, service and atmosphere. First time in Pittsburgh and places like this make me want to come back for more. Awesome!
