This is a review of the customer service, and not the facilities.  I went in to check out the gym after seeing their "Half Price Membership" sign.   The greeter wanted me to sign a waiver, but the fine print was not readable, so I asked for a readable copy.  His response to that was "it's not like we're taking your soul."   When I insisted on a readable copy, he raised his voice and asked that I leave the building.  His body language said that if I didn't leave, there would be a physical confrontation. Amazing.

This place is so cool. I mainly go because of the indoor cycling The new indoor cycling room is so awesome. Alot of thought went into making a place like this happen. The indoor cycling is like what i have said on previous occations is like bike riding in a night club. The other stuff is cool too but the Spin room is a huge plus!!

The Burbank Athletic Club really delivers! I'm very pleased with the dramatic improvements. Especially the new equipment. I love the vibe and the clubs are maintained very well

This place has all the stuff i'm looking for when it comes to equipment. Also the vibe is very nice. this place really is a home away from home. I would highly recomend it. I really love the staff, especially Dave, hes really great and will always go the extra mile for you. The classes are great especially the classes. Mariam is great. if your looking for a place that quiet, nice and affordable then this is the place for you.

This vibe of this place is so much better than before this place use to be a world gym. Ever since they turned this place around it makes me want to come here and because of it I lost 12 pounds. The people who work there are really nice. Dave and Tony always go out of the way to make sure that my wife and I feel great! Would highly recomend this to someone living in the Burbank Glendale area

It is about time someone cared about creating a first class gym facility here in Burbank. I have been a member at the Palm St. location for almost ten years and had been away for a while. I came back to a great place that is clean and set up in a way that you can get a great work out in. What a great change from the old tired place. Nothing is better than sweating it out on an exercise bike while watching your own personal TV Be careful you don't actually spend more time than anticipated on your cardio workout.

Great Gym big Improvement from the last gym that was there. They have good deals going on SIGN UP WITH David.............. HE GIVES GOOD DEALS!!!!!

I disagree with Alex below about the owner being a "nice guy".  He merely says what he knows you want to hear and then does nothing.  Nice guys don't take money from some members for premier classes and then cancel the classes without refunding your money.  Nice guys don't continue to deduct money for non-existant classes from your credit card.  Nice guys don't treat their loyal employees that have been with them for years and proven their worth, with disrespect and in some cases, demoting them or canceling their classes, wi... read more

I've been a member for a year and a half, and was there during the owner/name change. It's a nice gym, the treadmills and elipticals have TV's (which I don't use, but some do). The weigh benches & machines downstairs are in good shape, and I never have to wait, and I go on the weekday afternoons. My wife and I don't do classes, so I'm not sure how those have been affected.
