Some deceptive membership tactics going on there. They have managed to become like every other gym in the idea that they will give you the impression that your contract is one thing (monthy) when its not. I signed a monthly membership, seemingly, with them and when I called the corporate office (you can't cancel at the gym itself) they said that I had a yearly contract. I'd like to preface my review by mentioning my lack of interest in Pilates, tanning beds, wheat grass shots, or mood lighting while I'm working out. With that said, Burbank Athletic Club has just about everything I look for in a gym. They do have a good assortment of free-weights, elliptical-ish machines, and Hammer Strength stations. It's worth mentioning that it's clean and usually not crowded. The business is currently under renovations; will revise post construction.
