This review is specifically for KAREN the Yoga Instructor Karen is totally awesome! I've been taking her Anusara classes for over a year and she never fails to give me a good workout. She caters to beginners and novices alike, always offering advanced adjustments on poses, or offers advice on how to scale it back for someone who is just beginning or very inflexible. One thing I absolutely detest is when companies cite "policy" as a reason for poor, bad-for-business customer service. Burbank Athletic Club does this to its detriment. I had a year long membership and went in today not realizing my membership had expired 2 days ago. The sales manager tried to get me to renew my membership. I explained that I was waiting to hear back about a job in Santa Monica before deciding which gym to join for the next year. i tried here for 1 time it was clean but kind of crowd employees were nice good since i work at burbank i will get membership here better than 24 hour fitness in LA

There is no air conditioning in this gym and extremely poor ventilation.  Miserable.

I received a guest pass to this gym, so I took the drive to Burbank to train on a beautiful Saturday afternoon,. I decided I would take a boxing class and man was it good. The Instructor Mike did an incredible job of kicking my butt. There was a lot of shuffling and foot work combined with punch combination's.....absolutely killer. The gym itself was very spread out, a very big space. Everyone seemed nice to me, no attitudes. The Burbank Athletic Club has been my home away from home for the last eleven years. I've thoroughly enjoyed my years there & continue to do so. They have an amazing & friendly staff that caters to your needs; personal finances & physical fitness. They also have a handful of experienced trainers can help you achieve your personal fitness goals. However, most importantly, their personal are good and genuine people. I've heard a lot of talk about this club and had to take a look for myself.  It's definitely the cleanest gym I've ever seen.  The equipment is well maintained and there is a great variety of machines.   Lots of bang for the buck here.  TV's on the cardio is a very nice touch for a very affordable gym.   I heard the locker rooms are about to get a good make over before the end of the year.  That would really make this gym one of the best places to have a membership.  I hope they make that happen. All I can say is that ones man ceiling is another mans floor.  When it comes to workout / health clubs each person is looking for something. BAC works very hard to be a one stop shop for the fitness minded. I never even wanted to think about kick boxing, but after seeing the classes on weeknights and I decided to give it a try,  Amazing, Trainers are on hand to answer questions without a  hard sell.
