When we replaced our window with a more energy efficient model. Everyone, the window company and we, did not catch that our Roman shade would not fit the interior of the newly installed window. An emergency call to Barbara Maryatt solved our problem. She responded swiftly and with a very good price to save the day. A short time later the new window covering was installed. You installed new blinds in my living room (one slider and one tall window) and a heat deflecting shade on the outside of my bedroom window. I was--and am--so happy with your products and service! Having you come to my home with sample books was great, since I don't have a car. The installers were very nice, and I felt comfortable having them in my home. I had bought a renovated old house with absolutely no window coverings. Barbara came to my home about a week after I called and spent at least two hours measuring windows and showing me samples. She was very patient and extremely helpful in making choices between products and colors. I had never had to undertake a project like this and I felt I was in great hands. Richard and Barbara Maryatt from Budget Blinds did a fantastic job for us. We recently moved into a new house with NO existing blinds and no sense of what we needed. Richard visited our house 3 times to review product choices, measure windows, and ensure we were completely aligned pre-installation. Richard also measured all our windows, so that when/if we want to install blinds on the remainder of our windows, all we have to do is call and they'll have all our measurements on file. From the moment I called and a friendly, helpful Jackie answered, to the unpretentious Michelle who came to my house and within moments had found exactly the type of blind I was looking for to Chris and Johnson, the exceedingly polite, quick and professional installers, I've had nothing but positive experiences with this locally operated group that's part of a national chain. 3/19/12 on Yelp writes: I had shopped around for blinds for about 2 weeks. Some places just wanted me to email them measurements, but Richard at Budget Blinds came out took measurements, looked at the moulding in which the blinds would be installed ( very important with previously installed blinds), and advised with the softest sell I've ever encountered. With the discounts, his estimate came in better than the rest. Loved the personal touch and added bonus, he is local.
