Sunday roast was beautiful and staff welcoming. Such a lovely building
Would have been five stars but not letting us have water for our dogs was petty. Stupid rule. Nice food staff a bit robotic but that's kids for you.
This is our go-to date destinations. Never fails to deliver, food us always delicious and the menu is updated often to reflect the seasons. Friendly staff who are happy to have a chat while taking our order. It makes you feel very welcome. Do note that food portions are HUGE and we have never made it to the dessert course. Also, parking can be a nightmare but this is due to the Buck Arms being part of the Blickling Estate so is restricted.
We've been here a few times now for a roast lunch on a Sunday, and every time it's been fantastic. It's busy on a Sunday (understandably!), so we always have to book in advance, but it's worth it. The food is fast and fabulous. Roast beef is our go-to here, and the beef is perfectly pink and melts in your mouth - no chewy slices here. It's a generous portion (I usually take a doggy bag away with my leftovers) and great Yorkshire puds too. Would heartily recommend if you're a fan of a good roast dinner.
