Our first time eating here .i had the fish platter I did't like the fish it was fried to hard
Might be the best gumbo I've had anywhere. The fried fish, crab cakes, shrimp, and oysters were really good too. Best meal in Orange Beach so far.
Service was great and the food was pretty good, just expensive. The $13 sampler didn't seem big enough to be worth it to me, but we did finish it all. I ordered the shrimp and grits, my husband the captain's platter, my dad ordered the shrimp boat (4 kinds of shrimp), and my mom ordered the chicken. It is good to go maybe once or twice, but not special enough to go every trip.
I ordered the grilled fish, shrimp and crab cake platter and for lack of a better word, it was soggy, and it smelled like dish water. And my plate alone was almost $25?! Probably the worst seafood I've ever eaten. Our server was attentive but lacked any personality. We will not be wasting our hard earned money at Bubba's again.
Best seafood platter lunch...enough leftovers to go to feed my other half and not cook dinner!!!! Waitress Kat...what a sweet piece of apple pie, adorable waitress!!! Better give that girl a raise!!
