We were hungry after a week full of holiday travels to visit family in 2 states. It was Christmas Day. No fast foods open, no grocery stores open, no groceries worth cooking at home....hard to find anything open on Christmas Day...saw cars in the lot, so we decided to dine at Bubba's. Had onion rings as appetizer...not a fan...onions are too thick but, that's me! I had the fried fish sandwich (2 large fillets) and,my favorite, crinkle cut fries...I like my fish thin. Service and the food was great ! If your in the area stop in you will not be disappointed .
This was awful. They were out of all potatoes. One meal was cold from sitting so long. Three orders of snow crab-all had half empty crab legs shells. The waitress didn't know anything about the food. The last order was a steak so full of fat she couldn't stomach it. The manage came over so we told him about it. He asked if we wanted another plate. That would not have helped if they had just bought crappy crab and was selling it without concern. We still paid full price but lesson learned. Never again.
My nephew and I ate there last night as opposed to Hazel's simply because of outdoor lighting, more people in the parking lot, and more pleasing to the eye. It's been many years since eating at either so, we picked Bubba's. First, they were out of crab claws. Then, they were out of Sprite. I ordered the make your own platter with shrimp and crab cakes. I got 6 shrimp and 2 crab cakes for $18.99. It was just ok. I felt like the price was too high for what was received. There were a pile of French fries which was wasted food. ... read more
