I absolutely loved my stay here. ❤️ The room was big, clean, and very cozy. The staff were incredible; so helpful and kind. (Jane even drove me into town twice because I had trouble getting taxis.) And the restaurant is SO good! Big portions and so delicious; the included breakfast is phenomenal. A bonus is that the locals who frequent the pub are such lovely, lovely people. I had a wonderful time and will definitely come back for another stay.

Excellente étape à tout point de vue : une chambre très spacieuse et parfaitement agencée avec une belle salle de bain, le tout dans un petit pavillon en rez-de-chaussée, un dîner très savoureux, et un personnel à l'écoute et fort agréable. Le tout dans un cadre vert, très arboré et calme.

We've just returned from another stay in the Brown Trout , we "treated " ourselves to one of the beautiful cottages! OK it was more expensive than the rooms but we felt it was worth it! Had all the mod cons , beautifully decorated & spacious which were serviced everyday! Most importantly DOG FRIENDLY ! Only one disappointment that we didn't get a chance to use the open fire as the weather was too good!
