Just had Sunday lunch. The food was absolutely delicious. Good atmosphere and service too. .
Went for Sunday lunch with family to celebrate a special birthday. The food was good and the table service was excellent. However, the landlords were extremely unwelcoming towards children and quite rude. I was basically told to sit down for walking around for five minutes with my two-year-old, who was fully under my control. We rang to book a table and specifically said we’d be bringing our 1-year-old as a heads up. At no point did anyone mention that prams aren’t allowed and there are no high chairs so we only found out when we arrived. Honestly, it feels quite anti-child, especially for a place that serves food. We had no choice but to leave, which was really disappointing after making the effort to book ahead. A quick heads-up would’ve saved us the journey and frustration. Definitely not a welcoming spot for families.
Amazing food and service! Interior is quirky and curious
First time in this pub. Instead of a simple hello I was asked “are you eating or just drinking” Charged £12.60 for 2 pints! Thought to myself am I in London or Coley?! Landlord was rude and abrupt. He moved us to another table (even though there were loads spare) then basically threw a leaflet at us. No manners or appreciation we were putting money into his business.
