Installing copper plumbing pipe I called Brothers Plumbing because I needed some copper plumbing pipe installed in my basement. I chose them because their office was in the neighbourhood. taps they charge a lot, and when they screw up do not take responsibility. fellow burned a hole in cabinet and try to pretend it was nothing They Are great in emergency, but charge $175 to visit and then quote for work to be done. This may make logical sense but be aware. I would use them again, do good work, and come fast.. Not sure if their prices are high or normal, but just realize work in an emergency cost a lots

Clogged drain Extremely disappointing 3rd experience with this outfit. Phone quote was approx. $360 providing it was an uncomplicated job. Naturally when he got there is became a complicated job which required an additional just under $300. Had to be pre-paid before he would start. Worked for at least an hour and finally put everything back and said he was unable to find clog and there was nothing more he could do. Thank you for your review. As is often the case when we try to assess a problem over the phone, the price can change when we see the job. In this case a plugged drain was snaked several times and then re-plumbed because it was in such bad shape. The problem was determined to be in the store below the apartment. the drain would have to be located by opening walls and ceilings. The customer was to arrange with the store but never called us back. The customer was already a member and was reimbursed the difference.
Replace Cartridge for Moen Faucet Called Brothers Plumbing to replace a cartridge for a Monen single lever faucet. The tap was dripping so I told them exactly what needed to be done. Repair man was good replac the cartrige and was out of there is 10 min - cost me $367. This company is a rip off. BEWARE!!

install backwater valve The actual work seems fine. They said more needed to be done which almost doubled the cost and I had 24 hours to decide if I wanted it done. But the worst part was that they made no effort to confine the dust and I have been cleaning dust all through the basement for the past 3 months.

Blocked kitchen drain Kevin came to unblock kitchen drain. After fitting a new clean out access he snaked 24 feet down to main drain. Problem partly caused by pipes having insufficient slope so next day he returned and fitted new bottoms to both sinks and lifted the trap etc. up about two inches which gave a good slope to the stack pipe. He was very courteous and clean and left us with instructions how to treat our drain in future to avoid build-up and smells that we had experienced recently. Drainage problems I called for service on a Sunday morning last week and asked for help, since I smelled something in the basement. Not only did a plumber come to the house right away, the problem was fixed within a very short time. The plumber was tidy, professional and even covered his boots with hospital covers. Impressive
Diagnosis - on toilet and see if celar water pipe valve could be replaced invoiced for $250.00 plus tax - for a diagnosis which quoted at $124.00 plus tax. Waiting for a reply phone call since Sept. 4th. Called twice to follow up? Used Brothers in past and was happy with service.
sewage pipes beneath the house replaced I never saw such hardworking men. The 100 year old pipes needed to be replaced and we saw the problems with their camera. The men had to work in a confined space, had to move many items in our basement, and had to make many trips up and down stairs. Trenches were dug, new pipes hooked up, new concrete laid, and everything was moved back in and cleaned up. The crew arrived promptly each day and worked very conscientiously for 5-6 days until the job was completed. They were excellent.
