I contacted Hawthorne Residential Partners for the 5th time this week to complain about Reserve at Lake Irene, one of their properties. This morning, Sanjuna, a nasty disgusting human being answered the phone with a repulsive attitude. She said the lines are recorded so I hope this is true because the call needs to be reviewed. She also hung up on me, I was professional the entire time. This property is by far the worst property I have ever rented from. We have electrical issues in our unit including sparks coming from our outlets. Our unit and building are infested with cockroaches. Our lease is false and lists appliances we do not have in our unit and we are being charged for fees not listed in our lease agreement as items we are liable for. This is the worst apartment complex in all of Greensboro, NC the management is the absolute worst. They don’t answer the phone nor answer emails.

From the constant marijuana smell in the hallways, clubhouse key NEVER working (everyone who lives here was always so frustrated by this) and such loud noise coming from all directions of your unit...trust me you don't want to deal with the stress. The office staff...don't even get me started. They tell you exactly what you want to hear to get you to sign. Then they switch up real fast. And good luck trying to get in touch with them over the phone.. You pay a 200+ dollar cleaning fee (which i understand) however, you are exp... read more

All items charged for are within Florida Statutes in regards to being charged back. A third-party carpet cleaning/restoration company provided their assessment that the carpet was not salvageable after the residents vacated, the carpet was 1 year old and is deemed to have a 5-year life. It is truly a shame to see this property ran the way it is. Such a beautiful looking property that seems promising at first but falls short on all fronts. The main issues you will hear among many people living here are. 1- Loud footsteps from upstairs neighbors. It sounds like they are literally stomping if they just walk to the bathroom. 2- Constant barking from all the dogs nearby. These apartments are ridiculous! There is always an issue with hot water, there is mold inside these apartments and they always bring maintenance to come in to paint over it and it just grows back b/c of proper ventilation through out these apartments. We went almost two weeks without our AC unit properly working. There is always different management on the property and everyone just put the blame on each other and all we can get is a sorry. I have been a resident at a Hawthorne property for 1 year at Stephens Pointe in Wilmington, NC. As my experience has been reasonably fine, the cost of living at this property has increased 16 percent with the amenities either decreasing or increasing in price. Also, rent increases seem to be random and not equally levied. I find this to be an unfair tactic and not justified. What are their standards as to who has a 5 percent increase and who has a 16 percent increase? Have always payed rent early or on time, so what is their... read more

October 11, 2021 My address there was **** ********** ***Kernersville, NC 27284. I was an untroublesome tenant from 06/27/16, to 04/26/21. My last year’s monthly rent was $1,030.00 (+water), which I paid each month. After vacating, I received their non-certified final balance letter 05/21/21, totaling $1,709.00 for the last month’s rent and damage claims. By certified letter, I remitted the final month’s rent payment of $1,156.83 money order and a $80.00 check for only, the damages I acceded to, which they received 05/25/21.... read more

Garbage in recycling are horrible 2 weeks no pick up brings down the community. Owners and management to blame!! This is at the haven rtp in Durham, NC. Residents are being charged to get garbage picked up daily 5 days a week the complex can do better and have the garbage around the recycling are picked up on a weekly basis minimum . This is considered an amenity. Shame on them

The garbage and recycling pickup at Haven at RTP is handled by a 3rd party vendor and for reasons outside of our control was not picked up in a timely manner last week. This matter has now been addressed and rectified.
