Lovely pub friendly staff and great home cooked food, had the steak pie packed with meat,one of the best I have ever had.
We made a very last minute booking for dinner whilst staying in the area last week. Great service and wonderful food. Best seabass I have had in a long time and the panna cotta was incredible!
Great food, great beer, dog friendly
Our first visit to the lake district. Very friendly staff and patrons. Food was reasonably priced and quick to arrive with a wide range of nut allergy friendly dishes with a well labelled menu of allergens. Serves a nice cooked breakfast from 10am. Had a circular walk to scaffell and then back for dinner. Nice atmosphere and a range of dining rooms . Would recommend.
