Never Refunded Security Deposit Don't move here if you ever expect to get your security deposit back. Moved out a year ago, have called multiple times, and they still haven't gotten me my deposit refund.
Very questionable property DOES ANYONE WORK HERE AND WHEN??? So I've been trying to see an apartment for the past 2 weeks as a friend of mine recommended I check it out, unfortunately, these people don't believe in answering the phones or responding to emails. I've called from different phones to see if that made a difference and it doesn't. Clearly they're not 100% occupied since they have plenty of units on this site. Just average at best! I have been here for over 6 months now. Brook Hill is marketed as a luxury apartment complex which it is not. I cannot speak for other units but some cons are: Poorly put together cabinetry, cheap windows with drafts, maintaince takes days to arrive and fix things... still haven't fixed the hole in the drywall since move in day! All applicances and heat are electric and poor drafty windows means $200 comed bills while the apartment is kept at 66 degrees during the winter. Many cars have not moved since ... read more
DO NOT RENT I am a current resident at Brook Hill. Management team only cares about getting people into apartments, after that you are no longer important. When I signed my lease there was a monthly rent agreed upon(obviously). The only problem was that there was a mistake in their online payment system that had my rent listed much higher than it was supposed to be. Worst place to live with family Cheap quality apartments, very old and whatever rent anyone paying it is not worth that. There are so many issue in apartments which maintenance staff don’t want to fix, if you complain about maintenance staff to manager she will just listen and ignore your concerns. To fix any issue they take 7-15 day or never come and close request. I do not recommend Moved in August 31st, and not happy at all. Brook hill was bought out by a new management company and even though they have such huge plans for the next 5 years , but they really should focus on more current issues like fixing communication errors with office/ maintenance staff. Some girls working in the office are not friendly at all, maintenance doesn’t receive your work order even though you get a confirmation email. Great place to live Extremely close to my school. The leasing staff is always very attentive and helpful with any questions I have. When I'm coming in for my mail, they know as soon as I walk in and have it ready for me. They're helpful with answering questions and always having my requests for maintenance quickly completed. I've lived here for a little over a year now and have had no complaints.
Please don't do it I lived at Brookhill for two years and it really wasn't worth it. I'm usually not a picky tenant and I let things go especially with a busy schedule. But the management absolutely sucks. They are never their when you need them to address something, you need to keep calling them and bothering them until they take care of the issue. Utilities will be insanely high because the apartment complex has thin walls and gets super cold= you will easily pay $400 in the winter due to the cold (so add that to rent). I ... read more
Love it! Overall I really enjoy living at Brook Hill. I have never had any issues living here for the last two years, and they are pet friendly! The entire staff seems to be very friendly, and eager to help. Excited to renew my lease!
