Top hotel. Food excellent. Rooms are really clean and homely. Cant recommend this place highly enough
Attended Broadoaks down to a family wedding being held. I would just like to say a massive thankyou to both lewis jervis & lewis copeland. they've made our stay at broad oaks unforgettable! the liverpool vs birmingham banter was unmatched and the friendliness was absolutely brilliant. 5 star review down to these lads! We booked afternoon tea in advance during our holiday in the UK, eager to experience a traditional English afternoon tea, which looked delightful in the photos. The hotel itself is beautiful, and its location is truly charming. Unfortunately, the afternoon tea was disappointing. We weren’t asked which type of tea we preferred, and at the time, I assumed English Breakfast tea was standard. However, I later read in another review that other tea options were available. We stayed here for 4 nights celebrating our 40th Wedding Anniversary. First rate hotel. Friendly, professional, welcoming staff on the front desk, the restaurant, the bar and even the chamber maids engaged us in conversation. 5 varied choices of food on the evening fixed price menu all freshly cooked beautifully. (So much better than many hotel restaurants with huge menus but most of them micro-waved) Choice of buffet full English breakfast or cooked to order.
