I recently stayed at Broadoaks Country House as part of a wedding party and, unfortunately, had a disappointing experience with how the hotel handled an incident. During my stay, a key snapped in the door with minimal force, something that clearly shouldn’t happen under normal use. I immediately raised this with the hotel and explained that the key must have been faulty or poorly cut, as it broke without any excessive pressure. We have just come back from an overnight stay here for our wedding anniversary. We were greeted straight away by Will a young man who had recently moved there from Wigan and throughout our day he was present to cater to anything we needed. He was fab. We decided to get in the restaurant that night and it didn’t disappoint. The food is second to none. The room was really clean and beautifully decorated. The staff are very friendly especially Will. Excellent afternoon tea! I had a special family Birthday afternoon tea with all my family and granddaughter this month in the Music Room. The afternoon tea was delicious and the staff couldn’t have been more attentive. Thank you!
