Asking a customer if they want to "round up" the amount they are paying to the extent that it would add 25% to the total purchase price, suggests that you are not grateful or satisfied to have even made the sale! Moreover it is awkward and embarrassing for both the customer and the member of staff when the "rounding up" is declined.

I recently visited this charity shop and was met with appalling customer service from a rude member of staff in his 60s with an emo hairstyle. His disrespectful and racist behaviour made me and my mum feel extremely uncomfortable. To top it off, when I went to pay, he changed the price of an item at the till, accusing me of putting another label on it from another product to make it cheaper.
