Bought an item, never removed it from its bag, came back four days later (tags on, receipt) to return, was told I couldn’t return it.
I handed in some nice pictures as a donation on 26th May 2025. The lady was very pleasant and helpful and asked me to complete a British Tax Payers exemption which I duly did. Whilst waiting I noticed they had CD’s in stock. I asked if they took CD’s and DVD’s the answer was yes. Today I took possibly about 15 kg of CD’s and DVD’s to the shop on foot 500 m away ! Hands down best charity shop I've ever been too. I've purchased so many amazing pieces from here and the volunteers are so kind and helpful. Other customers are always lovely too. Really great environment
A Very Unpleasant Donation Experience at British Red Cross (Morningside Road) On Monday, 27th November 2023, at 4:10 pm, I parked my car just outside the shop to make a donation. I was met by a parking attendant who insisted on my swift departure. Despite explaining my intention to quickly drop off two bags of donations, he urged me to expedite the process while lingering near my vehicle.
