Had multiple issues here now, including being told a bed would be dismantled for collection but then being told this wasn’t something they could do when I went to collect at the agreed time. Staff are consistently rude and unhelpful.

Do NOT bother donating your furniture to the winton branch. We saved 2 beautiful vintage pieces of furniture for them to sell on eBay. Waited in the whole day for them to eventually arrive, on arrival they decided the furniture had imperfections and they didn’t want to take it. I explained it was from the 1960’s and the other piece was from the 1970’s- they said we only take perfect pieces of furniture! Use local charity companies, not this one!! Absolute terrible experience from here. Arranged collection of a sofa, was asked it is ok for further sale, which it absolutely is and does it have the fire safety tags, which it does. On receiving the email I realised it was an 8-4pm collection timescale, I called the store to ask if there was any availability for it to be collected in the morning and was rudely advised they'd cancel the collection. I asked the lady not to be rude to me and to keep the collection, she kept talking... read more
