Hi, we decided to visit the Britannia inn today, on a Friday evening by chance of driving past on our way to visit Fowey, we saw the lovely garden & bouncy castle up so perfect for kids! & wow what an amazing choice ! The place is very clean! & in particular we must comment on how amazing our food was! & probably the best evening & food we’ve ever had in Cornwall! Was that good!! & was also very quick & friendly service! Compliments to everyone! You should be very proud!!
Went for food and drinks. Lovely decorated restaurant and pub inland a couple of miles from the coast. Next to Par market. Food usual pub food of a good standard but drinks wildly expensive, got charged £6.90 for a local 'Offshore' lager. Service downright rude with bar staff far too busy chatting to each other to bother making me feel welcome and talk to me, despite the bar being empty.
Excellent service at a party here in a surprisingly warm marquee in December! We attended a birthday party here at the weekend. The venue was very good, with a large function room and outdoor seating (we were lucky with the weather). Drinks prices were fairly high but fair overall - we didn't stay in the rooms because we camped in the grounds. Facilities were basic but there was no charge for the camping pitch.
