Dr. Shafer takes the time to listen to you. He does an excellent job of explaining his recommmendations as well as your choices. I feel confident that I am in skilled hands.

Saw Dr Shafer about recent knee issues. After reviewing X-rays, explained my issues and laid out treatment plan going forward. Answered all of my questions. Dr Shafer replaced both shoulders 4 yrs ago and did an excellent job so have complete trust in his assessment of my knees now.
The doctor is very knowledgeable and personable, which are what I want in a doctor.
