The only reason for 4 stars and not 5 was that the prime rib was a little dry (very large though) but everything else about this place is amazing. The waitstaff bust their butts and yet are extremely friendly and the owner Mike stopped to chat with us (and just about everyone else) even though he was working just as hard as the waitstaff. We had a great experience and walked away happy 😊
We had heard a lot about this place, and since we are working on completing the Iowa Tenderloin Trail where you eat T-Loin at 10 of the 14 stops on the map, and get your paper stamped you are rewarded with a Free T shirt. This was the first time eating at Breitbach's after seeing a segment on Kwwl evening news. We were extreamly happy with the food and service we received. The atmosphere was charming and the generous lunch buffet exceeded our expectations. The owner Mike took the time to come chat and thank us for coming in.

My 2nd time enjoying Breitbach's. Enjoyed every bite, every minute I was there. Our server, Sam, was very friendly, personable and very attentive .. always checking if we needed drink refills and how we were enjoying the food. I had the buffet .. broasted chicken, batter dipped fish, macaroni salad, pickled beets and to top it all off, a freshly brewed cup of coffee and coconut cream pie. I was in food heaven!!
