The tavern that rose from two fires to be the oldest restaurant in all of the town, is worth going to see based on History alone. The food, too, is a delicious range of traditional, home-cooked fare, made from scratch. The buffet menu offers a different variety of dishes each day and the numerous pies for dessert are a truly mouthwatering end to the meal. There is an event hall that seats up to 150 people. You can also pick up a couple of souvenirs to remember the trip from the small shop before you leave.

First time there , it was awesome food , was greeted by the owner and seated right away . Big variety of food very friendly waitress. Cant wait to go back!!
Best Bloody Mary, cheeseburger, friendly bartender and a cozy atmosphere! Stopped in our way to Country On The River. Will definitely come back again in the future!
Our family has always had a policy of "No corporate restaurants" when we go out. THIS is exactly the kind of place that keeps that policy going trip after trip. Unbelievable food, great service and having the owner personally greet everyone speaks volumes to us. Can't wait until our next trip!!
Food was great! Service and hospitality was wonderful and mom went to pay her bill she told them how much she enjoyed her food and service and she got a hug from the guy then a young guy said if you're giving out free hugs I'll take one so needless to say you guys made a 76 yr young lady feel very special .thank you <3
