Hired the hall for a party , the women I spoke too was extremely rude to me and spoke to me like I was a child ! Very snobby and rude women . Worse of all the village hall has a bad RAT infestation , one huge rat came out from under the bin in the middle of the day and scared the children, noticed another and droppings . Hall from hell .. avoid
Hall was nice however I had quite a few issues. 1 plug in the kitchen worked and a plug from the bar which was very annoying when trying to hoover and the fact they want it spotless at the end. Very poor communication on WhatsApp with having to wait 2/3 days for a reply after it being read however when emailing I got a reply the next working day by someone different. I’m never one to leave a bad review! But the call I had to this place made me feel very stupid and inferior. This looked like a lovely venue and came recommended, but I was disappointed to call this venue for more information about hosting a family friendly party, only to be spoken to in a very rude and patronising way, interrupted on many occasions, and essentially brushed off.
