We were joining local family for an evening meal in the restaurant, and decided to stay the night. There were seven of us, and the food and service were excellent. We found all the staff to be welcoming, and the public bar has a really nice atmosphere. The room was comfy and warm, and the English breakfast was spot on too. Thank you to all the staff for a great stay, we will be back.
Was here for work. All satisfactory.
Stayed in the Cottage attached to the Hotel, Very comfortable and well equipped. Dined in the Restaurant the 3 nights we were there. Food was delivered on time with a good choice from the menu.
Disappointing food and service
This was a real find. Stayed here to break our journey from Stirling to Plymouth. We were towing a caravan but staff very helpful re: parking. Hotel was comfortable and the village was pretty. Great food - we both agreed the steak and ale pie was the best we’d ever had. Would definitely return. Great value too.
