Guys don’t go, this place is permanently closed. But still shows up on the website as if it’s available to book. And will definitely take your money. So please be aware.
Visited solo on business in August. The hotel is in a lovely country location, yet close enough to the city to be very useful for day visits l, whether for business or pleasure. The swimming pool is a decent size and was fairly quiet when I visited, straight after opening ok the morning. The room: whilst comfortable and quiet, the room was very basic and in need of some modernisation. Folks don’t book the company is in administration. Checked in went on a business conference. Returned in the evening to find we were all told to leave and bailiffs on site. I’d paid in advance refund refused at venue. Have gone through Visa Chargeback to claim my money. Real shame. Have stayed in the past but appears recent ownership has been awful and run a potentially amazing venue into the ground.
This is not a four star hotel. Terrible rooms. Mould in the bathrooms. Toilets not clean. Radiator doesn't work in the room
