We stayed in the house as a group of 10 extended family during the May school half term. The facilities are excellent, perfect for a group of 10. The kitchen had everything we needed and the second lounge / games room was great for the kids to have their own space. All clean and tidy as you would expect. Location is great, you can walk straight from the front door or short drive to many of the Lake District's attractions. The most beautiful location, absolutely ruined by the owner. I was extremely ill when I checked in to the cottage (on my own at Christmas) whilst waiting to be admitted to hospital. I accidentally overpaid and booked for an extra night, which was something I accepted was my fault and I was not too bothered about getting back. All was well until I decided, in a rare moment of hunger, to make some oven chips at 2am. Such is my condition and having not eaten eaten for 3 days.
