Our son ‘Jack’ was admitted to Bracken House for a rehabilitation programme in the three months that he has been there we are seeing some significant improvements in his physical and mental wellbeing. The staff are very professional, polite and helpful and also observant of Jacks behavioural problem's, in particular his allocated nurse Cassy and also Kennedy and Emanuel who all seem to be developing a good relationship with Jack. I have a concern about Z Brown seeing her sister who also has mental health issues and self harming, should they be allowed to see each other??? Because I don't see it appropriate. Thought I check with you.
The worse thing my mum could of done was move there. They don't help the patiences through their problems. I would visit my mum every few weeks, but now I'm not allowed to. They don't seem to be helping her. No help with relationships, they could of done more to help like us doing psychology together to help her like it was mentioned the other year. When she gave up on psychology I was the one to encourage her to say sorry and to go back and continue it. Not being able to see me is not going to do her mental health any good.... read more
