We enjoyed a delightful 2 nights stay. All the staff were more than helpful and we enjoyed our room when we sorted out a couple of snags, like an uplift step to the bathroom... not good during the night! The sitting area was a bit cramped and we wondered if anyone had really thought about the furniture. Lovely comfortable hotel in a stunning location. Room spotless and modern with a cosy feel. Food was delicious and all the staff are so helpful, friendly and polite. Special shout out to Jason who cannot do enough for you. Would recommend this hotel and we will return.
What a lovely gem! Quiet location convenient for many local hikes an clean and comfortable rooms. What really sets it apart are the staff who were all absolutely wonderful and the food. New menu each day full of absolutely delicious options! Can't wait to come back and highly recommend!
Just a lovely place to stay. We had a great room with views across the hills. A La Carter dinners and nice breakfasts.
We have enjoyed a lovely few days in this beautiful hotel located in the very pretty valley of Borrowdale. Can't praise the hotel and their staff enough. The staff are thoughtful and attentive. The food is amazing and we had a lovely double aspect view bedroom. We will be back.
