Wonderful place
Beautiful experience at the amazing hotel! Spa is lovely we stayed for one night had a treatment by Ashleigh who was so welcoming and calming for my first experience. Excellent massage came away feeling very calm. Dinner in Mayflower was delicious with a kind and funny server Niamh who was incredible.
My Granddaughter had her Wedding here. Perfect location. Excellent service, staff very friendly. The staff decorated the wedding room for us. It was boyond my expectations, really beautiful, as was the wedding service. Food was plentiful and very tasty. Excellent service. Beautiful, place and very relaxing. The most incredible place! Loved every minute of our Minimoon here. The hotel, spa and restaurants are all top notch, but it is the staff that make it an amazing place to be. Rob our porter, Abby and Issy who looked after us in the Spatisserie so wonderfully, the brilliant teams in the Mayflower and Acleaf restaurants, the housekeeping team especially Dee, the wonderful reception team. We felt so welcome and looked after. We have already booked to come back for our one year anniversary! Hope to make it an annual tradition ❤️
I will break down this review: Room: courtyard room (for dogs). Terrible- carpeted floor (why would you with a dog room, carpet was dirty). Shower is on the bath, very high hard to get into - no good if you are 79yrs old, also very weak water pressure. Mould in bathroom on tiles. Paint pealing off the door surround Room had had a leak in the ceiling just plaster over could easily see it and where it had run down the wall. Just needs a lot of love.
