It is the worst hospital imaginable. Doctors are pretty bad. Patients are treated as nuisance. If your life and your health are dear to you, avoid at all costs.
Overall l always receive good service at DePaul, but l do monthly bloodwork. .l go early because l can't eat or take my meds till bloodwork us done......lab opens at 7am. .in the last 18 months. ..the lab tech is always late..7:15 or later....why can't they arrive on time
I had back surgery at DePaul 2 days ago. I had heard some bad things, and was kinda afraid to have my procedure there, but I went in with an opened mind, and have nothing but good things to say. All of the staff that worked with me were wonderful. They were very attentive and made me feel like the most important person there. The caring that they showed went way beyond anything that I ever expected. The only negative note that I have is that my family was not updated in a timely manner.
