During our stay in London, the weather was quite hot. Our room was on the top floor, and since the windows could not be opened, the room became extremely stuffy and unbearably warm. The fan provided in the room was completely useless. We spent 4 very uncomfortable days because of the heat and lack of fresh air. I would definitely not recommend staying here during warm or hot seasons, as it can ruin your holiday experience. We also spoke with other guests who were having the exact same problem. I loved to stay there, the location was great and the breakfast in Elvis' Bistro was wonderfull.

Great location: Hyde Park steps away, Paddington close by. My (compact) room was indeed small but had enough room for me. I liked that my room had a mini kitchen. THAT SAID: My room had only normal curtains - nothing sheer, so if I wanted the sun to come in, the curtains had to be open, which meant my room (felt as though it was) on full display. My shower was also very very tiny (and I am not tall). Otherwise I was quite impressed by how the space was used, but can only speak for my room.
