Stayed in Bob W Amsterdam and it was great so hoped for a similar experience in London. However it was awful. They pushed my check-in time back twice due to issues with housekeeping (once without telling me...I found out via the app)! Then when i finally checked in my TV didn't work. Furthermore, the shower temperature was inconsistent so I couldn't take a proper shower. I did message the team via WhatsApp but got nowhere with this. an awful experience overall. the hotel doesn’t have an AC, and considers it ok to place guests on the top floor, which is uncomfortable in the best case and a health hazard in the worst.
The Bob W Paddington is ideal for a very early bus transfer to the airport (trains are shut during the night)
You need to upload a photo of your passport and picture of yourself to get into the room (as if anyone wants photos of their passport stored on the Bob W data system to be breached) but also if you don't have your passport on you or valid ID (which I didn't) the customer team will waste >5 hours of your time on some online chat where you have to re-explain the same things to a million different people who each take >30m to respond and they will refuse to cancel your booking they'll just keep send you links to upload your pas... read more
