I was curious to see what the store was all about, so I decided to visit Bob's today. Immediately as you walk in the front door, you are bombarded by sales people. I felt like chum being thrown into the ocean where there was a school of sharks. I said " I was looking and if I needed help, I would ask for it ". I proceeded to look and within 30 seconds I was bombarded again......then followed throughout the store. I walked out . Very poor customer service. I bought my furniture a year ago. The salesman offered the goof proof protection, I stated I didn't want to spend the additional $200. He asked if we had pets and I said yes 4 dogs, he proceeded to tell me that I really should get it because it covers any pet damage even if they chew a piece it is covered. So I said okay. Well he lied!!!!! I little corner was chewed and then got caught on a belt when someone was sitting there. It is not covered by Guardian or goof proof plus. What a waste of money... read more

Don't buy anything from Bob's Discount Furniture! I spent a fortune on a new bedroom set from this store. First they sold me a mattress that is the wrong size for the bed frame. It is 3 inches too small for the bed. I went back and forth with customer service and they refuse to take back the mattress that is too small. I WILL NEVER SHOP THERE AGAIN AND I DON'T THINK YOU SHOULD EITHER.

When my family and myself came to update our living room set I was appalled at the disrespect from a male salesman , he made rude comments and inappropriate gestures towards my daughters , I will never step foot in a bobs ever again , and their getting reported to the b.b.b. !
RecommendedI must admit, with all the negative reviews I saw on this page I was hesitant to deal with Bob's. I searched online at other furniture stores and couldn't find anything I liked as much as the set I found at Bob's. So, I decided to go see the furniture for myself. I loved it. I would not advise anyone buying furniture and if you do, DO NOT.... I repeat DO NOT waste your money on the goof proof protection plan. I was told it covered anything and everything that accidentally happened to the table and chairs. I called to report issues on the table and a pulley on the chair fabric and was told that it will absolutely not be covered. They told me that the way I reported it was why it was not covered. I went into Bob to pay and order a living room suite for my mom. She got hurt and needed my help so that when she can come home she has new furniture in her new apt. While let me tell you. The salesperson tell me that I have to pay $100 for delivery charge because their showroom/ back room is not big enough for the living room suite to be ship up to them from Maryland or Delaware where ever the guy said the warehouse is at.
