Portlanders have long awaited this restaurant since the owner closed Zefiro's. Portland's most elite are again hob-nobbing with each other amidst elegant and trendy surroundings. From the high ceilings to the opulent, mirror-bedecked restrooms, nothing has been overlooked. Wine is available from nearly any region or stick with your usual cocktail from the full bar. Poultry and seafood dominate the expansive menu, but you can also find plenty of pasta and beef. Be sure to leave room for an impressive dessert; like its predece... read more

Stunning design and a great time – What to say about Bluehour? It is the least pretentious "pretentious" place in Portland. The staff is professional and friendly and the bar area is inviting and somewhat casual. The price is what surprises me the most. You can get a variety of items for around $10 that are very satisfying, try the gnocchi and the scallops. Their cocktails are $6-7 and worth every penny, fresh juices and a premium well. The energy and clientele are what make it a great place. Watch out for the lines to the b... read more
blue hour – the restaurant is fabulous, it is a great romantic setting...the service is wonderful and the food is extraordinary...great wine list... bon appetite....
Love the Bluehour – My girlfriend & I love Bluehour. Things stared out potentially bad, but just showed how the dedication of the staff can turn things into a positive. We arrived right on time for reservations and were told things were running behind a few minutes. Over the next 30 minutes the two hostesses checked on us no less than 4 times, offered us free appetizers and sincere apologies. We weren't in a rush and were enjoying the bar, so it just really gave us a great impression of the place. We then were sat at the bes... read more
NICE ROOM, MEDIOCRE FOOD – Another Pearl District business that is over the top on price without that much to back it up. What is up with these people?!? This is not SOHO, this is Portland. The ambience is quite chic~chic...and the food is not horrible. It is just not worth the high price to have dinner and drinks that are not that special. I will continue to look in Portland for special places that are truly worth the price, which I never mind paying for true quality. But I think I am done with the Pearl for now. It is pent... read more
Just okay – I loved the atmosphere and staff and was prepared to have a wonderful dining experience! Everything was lovely but in my opinion the food did not match up to it's price. We dined on the Red Snapper and Sausage entree....just so so. There are other places available in Portland with MUCH more interesting food. But if you're looking for place to have a couple drinks (wonderful wine list) and socialize by all means....visit. Go somehere else for dinner.
sooooo LOVELY.... ~~~ HIPSEXY – We stopped in on a Sunday night late, and they kept the bar open for us!! Bartender and manager Dan was super nice. We will go back!!!!!!!!!!! Great drinks too!
I was not Blue – Went for my birthday, great service, atmosphere and every morsel was fabulous. Expensive but it was my birthday - what the heck! We had drinks, appetizers, entrees as well as dessert and spent 3 hours there very comfortably. I'll be back soon.
One of my favorites – Bluehour has wonderful food and a great staff. The food ranges from good to fantastic. All you've heard is true, this is one of the top few restaurants in town.
A blue experience – We were very disappointed with our dining experience at the Bluehour. My husband and I, along with two other couples, celebrated a his birthday at the Bluehour. The service was poor; the wait staff was inattentive. The food was average. We all agreed that we'd had much better meals at other restaurants. For the quality, the prices were much too high. Had it not been for the good company, our experience would have been completely dissatisfying. We will not return.
Bluehour has a 4.4 star rating with 667 reviews.
