Portlanders have long awaited this restaurant since the owner closed Zefiro's. Portland's most elite are again hob-nobbing with each other amidst elegant and trendy surroundings. From the high ceilings to the opulent, mirror-bedecked restrooms, nothing has been overlooked. Wine is available from nearly any region or stick with your usual cocktail from the full bar. Poultry and seafood dominate the expansive menu, but you can also find plenty of pasta and beef. Be sure to leave room for an impressive dessert; like its predece... read more

Trendy eats! – Great, fresh and imaginative food. They make a mean Mojito(sp?)
Most Overrated Restaurant – I've lived in Portland for 30 years and have sampled the fare at many restaurants here and elsewhere and I have to say that Bluehour is the WORST restaurant I've ever been to, and that includes the old Monte Carlo. We waited hours, literally for our food -- when it came it was the wrong thing, it smelled horrible and nothing was done as an apology -- no free dessert, drinks or appetizer, not even the words, "We're sorry for the inconvenience." My advice...don't go there!
Good Food, Great Atmosphere – I loved the atmosphere...and the food was good. I would not make a special trip back
It's called attention to detail – Snooty and Pretentious? Yep, many of the people who eat and drink at BlueHour are snooty and pretentious! And that's too bad, because the atmosphere, food, drinks and staff are certainly among the best you are going to find - period. Enjoy these things, and be entertained by the guests, and you can be guaranteed to have a great time. Some little secrets I've learned: Donnie, the bartender, is the best looking guy in Portland. The fried olives are a must. The hamburger, although different, yo... read more
Snooty – My evening at Blue Hour accomplished nothing more than to make me disgusted with the new Pearl District snobbery. The service is unneccesarily rude and decidedly cold. I've been to many restaurants and found the service at Blue Hour to be no better than any chain restaurant.
Best place in Portland – BLUEHOUR is simply the best restaurant and bar in Portland. Of course the usual insecure people will call it pretentious because they don't feel comfortable in nice surroundings, but it isn't. The staff is incredibly nice, the food is wonderful and so are the drinks. Besides all of that the prices are really reasonable considering the quality you get. The bartender Duke has to be the best in Portland or maybe even the entire West Coast. Aesthetically there is absolutely no competition. I find it hard... read more
Gnochi! – If you're a fan of Gnochi, then look no further. There's a $10 appetizer size or an entree for a bit more. If they could add just a bit more of the truffle sauce it would be the best I've ever had, never mind, it is! The drink menu is extensive, with a stunningly beautiful bartender that makes them. The only disappointment was the chocolate cake and ice cream. Great food at one of the best people watching spots.
Not For The Poor – I had my 30th birthday dinner here and it was great. Service, food everything was very nice.
LOOK AT ME!!!! – This place is great, where else can you go like it in PDX
