Visited the Blake Arms as a friend was holding a charity event in the skittles alley. Lovely pub, good service
Frequented this place a lot over the years but that counts for nothing to the owner. Never had or caused trouble in this establishment yet I got refused a glass and was told I could only have a short in a plastic glass/cup, whilst beside me pints were being served in glasses and wine was being served in glasses. The inconsistency prompted me to ask the owner for a reason why its one rule for one and one for another and was told those are the rules and if you don't like it basically there's the door, so we left.
