Booked the Illuminations tour last Friday. We were on the boat tram. Basically you cannot see the lights due to the cramped nature of the tram and its roof. You would see more if you drove your car. The conductors were friendly. Too many people with babies and children which were screaming most of the tour. It would be good for an adult only tour. It was an amazing experience and would love to do it again but it can't beat the western train because I love it and have been on it for 2 years we loved are experience on the HMS Blackpool but heritage trams please get the western train running because Blackpool needs it. I miss them coming past the promenade by my hotel room heritage trams I have got 1 message the lots of people want is to have the western train back on tracks. I did the illuminations tour on 2 nights on 2 of the heritage trams. One night was on double decker Balloon 717 and the other night was on the illuminated boat tram HMS Blackpool. Both nights were excellent. The staff were very polite and accommodating. The heritage trams were great to ride on. The tour goes to Bispham and back so you get to see all of the lights. Best way of seeing Blackpool is on a heritage tram. Recommend.

We enjoyed it but people pushed infront of us in the Que and the conductor said there is plenty seats for all . But that wasn’t the point . We didn’t get the seats we wanted because the conductor allowed people to push in the que
