Had reason to visit the town and fancied a quick pint. Walked in to a bustling, friendly bar with the most welcoming open fire. Beer, perfectly presented with staff to match. Perfect.
Cute little pub. Bar man very nice and friendly.
Guy behind the bar was miserable and rude, told us to get away from the bar before we even had time to get our pints off the bar. Then started getting emotional and still complaining to us after we had tried to sit down. Embarrassed himself in front of the other 3 people in total that were in there. We left without even touching our drinks because we weren't dealing with this kind of rudeness from an employee. Extremely rude and bad service. Talked to some locals after we had gone there and they said that's why the locals no longer go into this place, because the guy behind the bar is miserable and has a negative attitude toward customers. Beer was bad as well, I asked for a snakebite and they just said no. Don't waste your time and money here.
