I have been fighting with this company for almost two months. As described by other users, as soon as I installed this software, I was unable to browse the internet and was unable to verify the serial code I should have received after paying $50. They are giving me the proverbial runaround and I am trying to get my refund through Paypal. Stay as far away from this company as you can and don't trust them.

Do not give these people your credit card! The software they sell will freeze up and bog down your computer! It is "anti-virus" software that is worse than a virus! I tried cancelling after 34 days because it had gotten so bad my mouse froze every few seconds and wouldn't move. Uninstalling their product fixed the issue, but they will not issue a refund! Horrible horrible horrible company!

Bitdefender will abuse their customers trust when they have received your credit card details. I bought their product in 2015 and before the subscription was finished I purchased the Norton product instead because I felt Norton provide a better quality of product. In 2016 without my permission, Bitdefender automatically renewed my subscription. I received a refund after a long period of time and was assured that they would not automatically renew again. I purchased 5 licenses for my small business. I was able to create and account and install the program on the first computer. The next day, their system did not recognize me and said I did not have an account. A "chat" with support was entirely worthless as they failed to even understand the situation. When they did get me on line by creating a new account the system said I didn't have any subscriptions. I purchased their product and found that I was unable to select where on my computer I wanted to save their program. I asked for help resolving and was told that there was nothing that could be done. My complaint was escalated and I received an email from a Retention Team Member which offered to extend my coverage for 3 additional months. This proposal does nothing to address the issue that their product could not be downloaded to my computer. I would just like a refund so I can select another antivirus provider.

I was a Bitdefender for 3 years, in 2017 Bitdefender put in auto renew license and charged $89 for 1 PC without my consent, I disputed with Paypal and stated that nothing they can do asked to work with vendor. I called Bitdefender supports group which is in India and they asked for $70 to cancel my order. I opened several tickets with support group, but nothing happens. I am out $89 and can not use the product. This company is deceptive at best.

Tech support is the worst I've experienced from any company. Was having issues downloading software onto my PC. First thing that happened after install was critical errors. Froze up my computer and after countless calls to an "agent" I was never able to actually talk to tech support. They will only reply to your email after a few days! Then, tell you to do this or that and then take another few days to respond! Worst experience ever. Never will I try them again, even if they paid me! Still wouldn't even consider it. Bought the software. Run into problems! Contact support which did not answer in 10 days. Attempted a refund which was denied from PayPal for no reason! Terrible company! No support, just scamming through seller protection.

Rereviewed and searched the customer throughout our database. However, we could not find any tickets or orders made with the e-mail address he has provided. As a solution,we opened a ticket and requested further information from him in order to solve his issue.'

Similar billing issues for me. They offered me an early renewal deal, which I fell for. They then billed me $89.95 for an auto-renewal a few months later, even though I had already renewed. Still try to get them to refund my money. Shady. Be careful with this company.
