This cottage is really tastefully decorated to a high standard and you will have everything you need.There is not one thing the owner hasn't considered to ensure you have a peaceful, relaxing break. The bed is very comfortable, great shower and a bath situated in the bedroom overlooking the rolling hills. The patio area boasts fabulous private views a treat to see the barn owl and wildlife. We have just returned from a lovely week at Billy Gills 20-27 of June. As expected in Swaledale the weather wasn’t perfect but the cottage certainly is, it’s beautiful. Absolutely spotless, so tastefully decorated and equipped with everything we needed. The view from the patio is wonderful and to top it off an owl made an appearance on 3 evenings swooping by. We have stayed at many holiday cottages in lots of locations over the years. Billy Gill's proved to be the best. For location, comfort and welcome, it will be very hard to beat! Loved it! Just been to Billy Gills cottage for the fifth time. It is such a magical place with the warmest of welcomes. Everything you want for a holiday. Thank you again Louise.
In a word, superb. This is one of those cottages that you love from the moment you walk through the door. The cottage has been planned and equipped without compromise, so everything you want is just where it should be. We loved it, spending a week in Swaledale just as the curlews got into full voice. What could be better?
