Don't get it – All I hear is "Big Wangs has the best beer" and "cheap food" but the beer is just regular (go to father's office for a good selection of beer) and the food is kinda overpriced. It's just another dive bar in LA. It's open late for food and that's pretty much the only reason why I keep going back.
Made me sick – Don't eat here--I did last week, and started getting sick shortly thereafter. The absolute worst experience of my life.
Managers now can write reviews? – Since when are the managers and owners allowed to review their own place? These last two reviews are obviously theirs. LAME!
Sports and beer play nice together...... – I always thought Disneyworld was the happiest place on earth but was I wrong. After schlepping over the hill to the Hollywood location on cahuenga for four years to enjoy my beloved Dodgers, Lakers and Kings, Instead of driving there from Valley village, I can literally walk there and enjoy all the great service and familiar faces I know now. Finally!!! A place for Wings and Ice cold beer in my town! – Finally a sports bar in my neighborhood! Noho is growing fast and this place is just what it needed! Cheap beer, Hot wings! I especially love the teriyaki style ones! I'm too cheap to foot for a flatscreen but now I don't have to. they've got like 50 or so jumbo screens in this place. ALL HIGH DEF BABY!!!!! Horrible experience @ North Hollywood...Not going back – My first ever review of an establishment. My first time at this location in North Hollywood and definitely not going back. The service was just horrible and left a bad taste. Either the staff is under some strange hidden code not to serve some folks i.e. (I?m black) or they are totally inept. bad wings – Bad wings, bad service, hassles with mgmt over poor staff training.... There's too many better , friendlier places to spend cash in this town.
Don't trust these guys – I tried to book a room at Wangs for a party. Called in two weeks ahead of time, set everything up. Then I get a call a week later from a different guy, and this guy is "double checking" what exactly I booked, and warns me that there's a commerical shoot during the day - but "no problem" they'll be out of there by the time of my party. The owners a douche, the food s*cks and they are rude – This place is terrible. The owner is a complete d-bag. The servers and the owners are rude. The food is terrible. The only thing decent about this shyte hole is the beer. But then again you can get beer anywhere. Don't waste your time.
