The West Coast Anchor Bar – Search no further for the best wings outside Buffalo. With a good looking waitstaff and a ton of TVs, this is the place to sit back and get fat on the meatiest wings around. The blue cheese is a little runny, but I can't say enough about the place. Well worth the extra time on the treadmill.

big wangs rocks my world – the best part about this place is the incredibly sexy owners (especially the texan one) - and they certainly seem to live up to the name of the joint

These Reviews Seem Fake – Is it just me or do all of these positive reviews sound like they written by staff members/owners of Big Wangs? Seems like cheating to me. In the future, don't use the same terminology ("all for under $40!") in different reviews.

Beasts of the Field And the People Who Love 'Em – What ol' Country Boy here likes to do is pull his truck into the lot at the Wanger, shop at the Farmers Market right next door so's he can get hisself some of them yellow squash and sweet corn like Momma used to grow, and then hit the restaurant for wings, sure, but also that pulled pork sandwich -- gee dog doodly whilikers if that sumbitch don't taste better than anything they make back in Carolina! It's down home and uptown, all at the same time, this pool hall/juke joint/g... read more

Thank God for Big Wang's! – Last night, I wasn't sure where I was going to watch the playoffs. I didn't want to deal with anywhere in the L.A. "scene," I just wanted a place to hang out, drink some beers and watch the game. I wanted to just plain have fun. A coworker suggested we hit up Big Wang's. It was everything I could have hoped for! Cheap beers, delicious bar food, friendly servers and patrons, it was almost too good to be true! It was everything I missed about bars from back home. I've never felt so at home so quickl... read more

THIS PLACE ROCKS – I can't believe it took so long to get a gem like this in Hollywood. I discovered it last Wednesday and have been three times since. The over capacity thing has been fixed and now they can fill the joint up. I can't get enough of their drink prices. I have found a new home.

ITS GAME TIME – I just came from Big Wangs watching the NBA FInals. I had heard about this place from some friends and they did not let me down. When I walked in I didn't feel like I was in Hollywood anymore. The place was packed and everyone was having a great time. I sat down and was blown away by the cheap beer prices. The food was unbelieveable. The meatball sub is gotta be the best in town and the pizza is the best I have had outisde the east coast. Ask for Amber she totally took care of us and showed us a great time. S... read more

Beer on tap, what a novel idea! – One slow Saturday I entered Big Wang's with my lady and a H'wood buddy. We liked it, but we didn't eat there so I'm unsure of the food quality. They have a decent selection of beer on tap and pitchers which if you are from anywhere other than LA is standard but in this town it is totally and completely foreign, so I like it just for that. It was not busy (about 25 people at midnight on a Saturday) but not once did a server ever acknowledge our presence, typical LA, so we kept feeding the fri... read more

Big W...aste of time! – OK, so I heard about the cheap beer and had to check it out. It was a huge waste of my time. I totally agree with the other review...I had to wait 20 minutes to get in, and the bar wasn't crowded. They want it to look more popular and fun than it is!!! Once I got in, I was sitting at a table for 15 minutes before a server approached me, and then it took the food forever to come out. I ordered the buffalo quesadilla which was too heavy and overcooked. plus, the server didn't make regular checks to refi... read more
