About this business
The entire bar and restaurant is designed in dark, elegant wood with very stylish and comfortable furniture, chairs and booths--even the requisite fireplace--giving it a private club-like feeling. Beautiful multi-hued granite is used for the table tops and the bar, highlighting the overall design. The owner, Brett Anderson, (a lawyer, but we won't hold that against him) has done an excellent job of designing and furnishing the restaurant and has obviously spared no expense. Delicious Great Food
Best Ribeye I've had in a looooooong time. Comfortable atmosphere and kid friendly. Little pricey for what you get, but nonetheless, great food.
The best steak I've had!
It's been at least ten years since our last visit. The food was very good but for the price we expect a higher level of service. We receive more appreciation of our patronage when we go to chain restaurants.
Cheesy on the outside ... delicious on the inside. My favorite place for a great steak. A+++
We found this place about the year 1990, when we co-owned a horse running @ Prairie Meadows. Excellent with top notch food, always!

Big Steer = Big Price and Some Items You Should Steer Clear Of. My family of 5 and a daughter's fiance' went to the Big Steer last night and had mixed results. One daughter had the prime rib and it was prepared to perfection. My wife and I did not fare so well with the steak deBurgo, ordering it medium rare and it showing up well done. And the kicker was that the menu states "the restaurant is not responsible for steaks over done". What?
