The entire bar and restaurant is designed in dark, elegant wood with very stylish and comfortable furniture, chairs and booths--even the requisite fireplace--giving it a private club-like feeling. Beautiful multi-hued granite is used for the table tops and the bar, highlighting the overall design. The owner, Brett Anderson, (a lawyer, but we won't hold that against him) has done an excellent job of designing and furnishing the restaurant and has obviously spared no expense. I love this place. The food is always awesome. The steaks are melt in your mouth, the house salad dressing is so yummy, and the fried mushroom appetizer is amazing. Love it all!!!
Our family of six had dinner for the first time here on Saturday and everything was awesome -- used call-ahead seating and it worked perfectly, the hostess was friendly, large booth was just what we like, our waitress very attentive, and the food was amazing (LOVED the house salads and all the beef options we tried - 6 different ones)!!! I'm sorry some people had bad experiences, we had read the reviews and still wanted to try it and are SO GLAD we did, we will definitely be back!
I love this place! I always get the 16 oz Ribeye and it is always medium rare to perfection. Cooking it any further is a waste. I was able to call ahead and get added to the list, got seated within 20 minutes and everyone was very friendly. Their wait staff is a well oiled machinr and their food is awesome. Just saying if you get a chance, go!
We have always had excellent service and excellent food! I asked to change seating and hostess was very gracious to move us. Can't wait to go back! 10 star rating.
My husband and I went on New Years Eve at 4:30. We were seated immediately but the line grew quickly. The service and food were absolutely amazing. My husband had the 20 oz. Porterhouse steak and said it melted in his mouth. I had the steak tip deburgo. It was absolutely delicious! We will be back very soon. Thank you!!!
Had excellent food and service on a very very busy New Years evening. The wait was long, but totally worth it!!
We were trying to find a steak place to go with my parents, who were visiting from South Carolina. We decided to try The Big Steer and we were not disappointed! Our waitress was amazing, always on top of everything. And the food! It was all perfect! We will definitely be back!
